GM’s commitment to an all-electric future and many investments into EVs has allowed the company to execute a multi brand strategy. Cadillac remains the tip of GM’s technology spear and that includes EVs. Cadillac’s portfolio will transition to all-electric before our other brands. The launch of LYRIQ, CELESTIQ and now ESCALADE IQ are just a start. We have much more coming.
Third-party forecasters expect U.S. EV volumes to more than double from 2025 to 2030 to about 3 million units on average. GM believes volumes could be materially higher as more EVs are launched in popular segments, charging networks grow and the total cost of ownership to consumers continues to fall.
